DescriptionGOOD QUALITY, ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENGLISH SILVER SOUP LADLE, LONDON GEORGE III, c1818. A good quality, antique, English Sterling Silver Soup Ladle made by William Bateman I, London and dating from c1818. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WB" for William Bateman I, the Monarchs Head duty mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head crowned London town mark and date letter "C" for 1818/19. A very good, heavy gauge ladle that is in excellent condition. A nice addition to any collection. The ladle measures 12 1/2" inches (325mm) in length. The weight is 223.8g/7.89oz/7.19ozt
